The ModernTax API allows developers to request business transcripts such as forms: 1120, 1120S, etc. Once signed in developers can obtain their API key within their dashboard panel.

The API responds with a response_code string indicating the status of the verification. If the verification is successful, this will be "successful." If the requested business transcript matches our records we will instantly return the corresponding transcript. If the verification is unsuccessful, an error code will be provided to indicate the issue with the provided information such as incorrect EIN number or missing field.
